The National Institute for the Protection of Consumer Rights (Pro Consumer) obtained a score of 99.05 in the standardization monitoring of the transparency portals of public administration institutions, in compliance with the general law of Free Access to Public Information number 200-04 and resolution 002-2021.
The evaluation, which is carried out every month by the Directorate of Transparency and Open Government, a dependency of the General Directorate of Ethics and Government Integrity, was carried out on June 9 and corresponds to April 2022.
According to the assessment, Pro Consumidor obtained a rating for its Transparency Portal of 81.05 out of 82; 13 out of 13 in response efficiency to Access to Public Information (SAIP) requests, and 5 out of 5 for Open Data, for a general total of 99.05 out of 100.
It is established in the evaluation that, within the legal framework of the Transparency System, the entity that defends consumer rights directed by Dr. Eddy Alcántara, in his capacity as Executive Director, obtained 100% in regulatory compliance of the Purchasing procedures. and Public Procurement.
The entity that defends consumer rights also achieved 100% in financial statements and reports, income and expenses, fixed assets and warehouse inventory.
As well as in minor purchase processes, purchase ratio below the threshold; Micro, small and medium enterprises and Women; cases of exception, list of supplier accounts and others.
It also achieved 5 out of 5 for 100% with the formation of the Integrity Commission of the consumer defense body, recently carried out.
Likewise, in compliance with laws, decrees, resolutions and other regulations.
It also achieved the same score of 100% in Institutional Strategic Planning, Annual Operating Plan (POA), Institutional Statistics, basic information on public services and Budget Execution.
Likewise, it reached 100% for compliance with the publicity of the information concerning the payroll of the institution’s servers.
