Mount Silver. –The councilor of the Modern Revolutionary Party (PRM), Jhonny Omar Rijo Ferrer, was arrested this Saturday afternoon in Monte Plata for alleged fraud and falsehood in writing to the detriment of Mrs. Carla Estephany Jiménez de la Cruz.
A police report specifies that Omar Rijo was arrested under arrest warrant No. 668-2022-SAJP-00502 dated 04/22/2022, issued by Judge Wendy Polanco Santos, at the request of Prosecutor José del Carmen García Hernández, for alleged violation of art. 147 and 405 of the Dominican Penal Code to the detriment of Estephany Jiménez de la Cruz.
Ferrer was taken to the Monte Plata preventive prison to be brought to justice.
