Private analysts expect lower GDP growth and more inflation

The survey carried out monthly by the Bank of Mexico to private analysts expects Mexico’s GDP to be 1.4% in 2024.

Analysts consulted by Banxico reduced their growth expectations for Mexico.

Private analysts reduced their forecasts for the mexican economy and they anticipate that to slow to 1.4% in 2024 already 1.17% in 2025.

The median of the projections of 41 local and foreign analysis groups, received between October 17 and 30, also highlights that the inflation general will remain outside the inflation target of 3% and will close this 2024 at 4.45%.
