Freddy Ramón Pulido Martínez, 47 years old, was arrested for his alleged responsibility in the attempted femicide against his partner.
The event occurred on January 7, on Constitución Avenue in the Fernando Girón Tovar parish of the Atures municipality of Puerto Ayacucho.
In the early hours of that day, the victim was sleeping when the aggressor, under the influence of alcohol, entered the room and began to hit and suffocate her, which generated a struggle between the two.
During the altercation, the mechanic threatened to kill the woman, which is why she went to the regional police headquarters to file a complaint.
During the presentation hearing, prosecutors charged Pulido Martínez with the crime of aggravated femicide in frustration.
The 2nd Control Court issued the custodial measure against the aggressor, who was detained at the regional police headquarters.
