HOLY SUNDAY EAST. – The Public Ministry reported this Thursday that it will request a year of preventive detention, as a measure of coercion, to Marvin Joel Soriano Robles and Roxanna Milagros Villeta Gomez for being linked to a criminal structure dedicated to electronic fraud, illicit obtaining of funds and counterfeiting.
The MP previously accused the Judicial Office of Permanent Attention Services Soriano Robles and Villeta Gómez of defrauding dozens of people to whom they promised “clean up” their credit files in the financial system.
However, according to the investigation of the Santo Domingo Este y Norte Prosecutor’s Office, once the victim signed the digital contracts, the scammed became debtors of the company which he then did irregular embargoes and, in many cases, their signatures were forged.
The file instrumented by the investigative prosecutors Nehemías Salazar and Waldimir Reynoso, from the Department of Investigation of Crimes and Crimes of High Technology and Intellectual Property, establishes that the case was followed up from October 5, 2022, since the first complaint was made. .
Likewise, the accusation relates that the organization attracted its victims through an advertisement on social networks, with a link to contact the Dominican Procredito Company. Once the users clicked on the link, they received a message for them to write on WhatsApp.
The defendants face charges for violation of various articles of Law 53-07, on High Technology Crimes and Offenses and the Dominican Penal Code.
