The president considered that the privatization of the public drinking water service did not work in the country and, in this sense, stressed that it is high the percentage of children in Colombia who do not have the service, which, he assured, is a cause of death for infants.
“The possibility of having drinking water is not complex, it is not a terrible engineering operation in which a lot of money is needed to make solutions, because there are solutions that can be almost immediate and it is not explained how a community does not have water“, highlighted the head of state. For Petro, that is the number one priority.

According to the president, those modifications must be made in a period of less than 15 days, and in those changes the items that have to do with educational infrastructure and drinking water “they have to be a priority, because if not, we’ll be talking cart“.
