Schoolchildren will receive free transportation
President Louis Abinader declared of high national interest the creation of the first National School Mobility System, which seeks for children to reach educational centers quickly and safely.
The information was released yesterday in a statement Homer Figueroaspokesperson and director of Strategic Communication for the Presidency.
The official said that by decree the president instructs the Ministry of Education to organize and execute all the necessary actions to implement the initiative, which transports children free of charge and in a comfortable and safe way.

Camacho accuses the brothers Alexis and Carmen Medina of threatening the Public Ministry
The head of the Anti-Corruption Attorney’s Office (Pepca) Wilson Camachoyesterday accused Alexis and Carmen Magalis Medina Sanchezof supposedly threatening the Public Ministry as a way of exerting pressure in the Antipulpo case where both appear as defendants.
He warned the Court that the brothers of the former president Daniel Medina continue with this type of conduct against the prosecuting body, they will act accordingly.

The spokesman of Modern Revolutionary Party (PRM) in the Senate, Frank Romero, He said yesterday that his party’s act in Santiago de los Caballeros was not proselytizing and that the Central Electoral Board (JCE) has a tool in the Political Parties Law to control the untimely campaign that other political organizations are carrying out.
“Regarding the act that took place in Santiago, the first thing is that it was in a closed place; I don’t think it’s proselytizing. Diarrhea outbreak in Dajabón triggers alarms
The detection of an acute diarrheal outbreak in the province of Dajabón, on the northern border with Haiti, activated alarms in the Dominican Republic due to the possibility that it was cholera, which affects hundreds of people in the neighboring country and has left at least 37 deceased.
According to data provided by the Ministry of Public Health, in the last week 43 cases have been treated (41 Dominicans and two Haitians) due to strong decomposition in border communities such as Loma de Cabrera, Restauración and Partido, in Dajabón.
Medical reports indicate that patients, in addition to acute diarrhea, have dehydration.

JCE proposes agreement would limit proselytism
The Central Electoral Board (JCE) He presented a proposal to the parties so that they commit to limit proselytism for the 2024 elections or otherwise apply the sanctions established by the regulations.

Crime Ensanche La Fe shakes its inhabitants
