Senator Yván Lorenzo challenges the director of the DGCP

Luis Abinader announces contracting of 800 MW in Manzanillo
President Louis Abinader announced the conclusion of the tender for the installation of 800 megawatts in Manzanillo, the largest amount in Dominican history.
These are two plants of 400 MW each and a natural gas terminal, a project that is part of a comprehensive development strategy for the electricity sector.

The free zone sector will end this year with a export volume of more than US$8 billion and nearly 200 thousand direct jobs generated.

The president pointed out that the results achieved up to last year, and that have continued to be exhibited since the beginning of this year in terms of jobs, investments and exports, convincingly show that we are on the right track and that free zones grow and become stronger every day.
