Santo Domingo.- The main suspect in the death of second lieutenant of the Army, Gregorio Ramírez Pineda, was killed this Friday in Sabana de la Mar, in an alleged exchange of shots.

Juan Carlos Beltré Montasknown as «Juan» and allegedly one of the most wanted criminals for multiple criminal acts, died after being wounded by a gunshot during an operation in the Catarey sector, Sabana de la Mar municipality, Hato Mayor province.
According to the preliminary report of the National Police, the incident occurred when agents of the Regional Criminal Investigation Subdirectorate (DICRIM), based in San Cristóbal, located Beltré Montás on Eleuterio De León Street in the aforementioned municipality.

Beltré Montás was wanted under arrest warrant No. 01541-2024-AJOR03133 for the murder of Ramon Emilio Febrillet, occurred on September 13, 2024, in San Cristóbal.
