“During their stay, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex will join me on visits to Bogotá and the Pacific and Caribbean regions, in Cartagena and Cali, respectively.“, added Marquez.
Harry and Meghan will meet with leaders, young people and women “committed to progress” and you will be able to discover “Colombia’s rich heritage“, added the Vice President and Minister for Equality in a statement.
Her visit will be held during the first World Ministerial Conference on the Elimination of Violence against Children, which will take place in Colombia in November.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex and their Archewell Foundation, which promotes safer digital environments, will participate in several activities related to this topic.

The conference will present a global framework for creating safer physical and virtual spaces, addressing issues such as cyberbullying, online exploitation and the impact of these threats on mental health.
