The First Justice election day

Primero Justicia carried out its internal election process with the hope of electing more than 12,000 national, regional, municipal and parish representatives.

The yellow awning published a statement in the morning hours, in which they offer the details of the electoral event, highlighting that the organization’s National Electoral Committee would have 537 voting centers deployed throughout the country.

Specifically, 504 national, 5,168 regional and municipal authorities would be elected, in addition to more than 7,000 parishes, for which more than 12,000 positions were in dispute within the political organization to promote its renewal process.

«Today, Primero Justicia bears witness to its democratic vocation and paves the way for its renewal. In each voting center and in each fair vote, the effort and generous dedication of those of us who have decided to work tirelessly for this country are contained”, highlighted the release.

With the entire electoral structure established for this day, Primero Justicia invited its militants to participate in the event and anyone who “feels the call of service to our country” to register in the party.

They also announced that they will report through their social networks how the electoral event progresses. In this way they will offer a statement with the results after the closing of the tables.

Since the morning hours, the Twitter account of Primero Justicia (@Pr1meroJusticia) has published photos of the participation in voting centers deployed in different regions of the country.

A few days ago, the national coordinator of Primero Justicia, Julio Borges, promoted the event under the idea that it would be an opportunity to relaunch the movement and empower the organization’s militancy.

Borges explained that since last November 21 it was agreed to promote a “review process” that would allow facing the political reality of Venezuela in a context that PJ considers dictatorial.

In this sense, PJ faces a reform process of its internal statutes, which are reflected in this electoral process and in the intention to “rethink everything”.

“These internal elections are the result of a serious, thoughtful and review process that we have carried out internally,” Borges declared in an interview for The Pin.
