Prime Minister Ernesto Álvarez will request a vote of confidence from Congress on Wednesday, October 22

He Prime Minister, Ernesto Álvarezrequested the president of Congress to appear before the Plenary Session on Wednesday, October 22 at 4:00 pm along with his cabinet in order to request a vote of confidence.

Through a letter addressed to Fernando Rospigliosi, Álvarez requested that a plenary session be scheduled to “in the company of the other ministers, present and debate the main measures” that his management requires.

Who makes up Ernesto Álvarez’s Cabinet?

The Prime Minister who was sworn in in front ofJosé JeríwasHugo de Zela Martínezwho took over as chancellor and will lead theministry of foreign affairs. De Zela will be in charge of representing thePeruinternationally. He followedCésar Francisco Díazwhich will be under the responsibility of the Ministry of Defense.
