A curious and controversial event has gone viral on social media, generating all kinds of reactions among Internet users. In the sector of a national highway in the department of Cundinamarca, two men dressed in cassocks and clerical attire were captured while performing what appeared to be blessings to the vehicles that traveled on the road.
The suspects also carried piggy banks in which they collected money from drivers who stopped, claiming to be collecting money for religious purposes.
What seemed to be an act of faith soon turned into a disconcerting episode when a driver, intrigued by the presence of the “priests,” stopped to question them.

When asked where they came from, the individuals replied that they were from Fontibón.
However, the situation became even stranger when the driver asked them for the name of the bishop of their diocese.
The subjects, visibly uncomfortable and without a coherent response, began to stammer and ended up saying that “they had a presbyter bishop,” without being able to provide concrete details.
This incident has generated outrage and laughter in equal parts, as many users on social media have pointed out the possible fraudulent intentions of these men, who could be deceiving the population under the guise of being religious.
