The government announced that it has earmarked RD$1,215 million in subsidies to fuels to curb the increase in prices and thereby mitigate its impact on inflation in the local market.

The deputy minister of internal trade, Ramon Perez Ferminexplained that the price of WTI averaged US$110.56, for a significant increase of 5.0% in relation to the average of the previous week.

The issues that affect the local market have not changed, the conflict in Ukraine has become uncertain and long lasting; Along with the humanitarian cost, the economic component reaches our country, in response to which the Government is called to act.
