The Federal Highway Police (PRF) seized 16.1 tons of marijuana in Ponta Porã (MS), a city located on the border with Paraguay, and 316 kilometers from the capital of Mato Grosso do Sul, Campo Grande.
According to the corporation, this is the biggest seizure in Brazil in 2022. The seizure was made yesterday (11). Images of the operation were released on PRF’s social media. According to the post, the value of the seized drug exceeds R$ 34 million.
The marijuana was in a truck that was supposed to be transporting soy. There is still no information about arrests.
