SANTIAGO.- Accepting the request of the Santiago Prosecutor’s Office, the judge of the Judicial Office of Permanent Attention Services of this judicial district imposed preventive detention for three months as a measure of coercion against three men who are accused of the shooting homicide of a promoter artistic, the early morning of Saturday March 4, in the Ensanche Bolívar, of this city.
Judge Kimberly Tatis imposed the measure against Raymund Samuel Díaz, Allison Moreno Rodríguez and Jeifry Rafael Peña Pérez, for the murder of Ángel Rafael Caba Domínguez “DJ Canela”, 47 years old.
Before the court, the prosecutors Quirsa Abreu and Martha González, presented evidence that the Public Ministry has compiled and that supports the accusation against the defendants.
In the course of the investigation, the Prosecutor’s Office has managed to establish that the accused conspired to intercept and kill the victim.
The justice body points out that they later hid part of the evidence of the fact, to evade their criminal responsibility.

Against Díaz, Moreno and Peña there are charges for the crimes of homicide, association of criminals and illegal possession of a firearm.
The Public Ministry gives the process the legal qualification established in articles 265, 266, 295 and 304 of the Dominican Penal Code, as well as the violation of articles 66 and 67 of Law 631-16 for the Control and Regulation of Weapons, Ammunition and Related Materials.
Within the set of evidence, the investigative prosecutors of the Public Ministry describe the moments prior to the shooting and establish, based on the videos from surveillance cameras, the places where the accused were before arriving at the crime scene.
