Santo Domingo.-The Judicial Office of Permanent Attention Services of the National District imposed three months of prison preventive arrest of a woman accused of sexually exploiting two daughters, ages 9 and 10.
Judge Fátima Veloz issued the measure of coercion against the woman for her connection with the illicit activity, ordering her to be held in preventive detention at the Correction and Rehabilitation Center (CCR) of La Vega.

According to the document, during the criminal investigation of the case it has been established that said defendant was engaged in human trafficking, in the form of sexual exploitation of children and adolescents, commercial sexual exploitation and possession, production and distribution of material of child sexual abuse (child pornography) in the territory of the Dominican Republic, deliberately affecting his daughters and a teenage neighbor.
Likewise, it was determined that the defendant was dedicated to sharing and disseminating videos by electronic means containing explicit material of child sexual abuse, for which she received payments.
The Specialized Prosecutor’s Office against Human Trafficking and Illicit Migrant Smuggling (PETT), represented by its head, prosecutor Yoanna Bejarán Álvarez, carries out the investigations, jointly with prosecutor Aleika Almonte Santana, receiving, by virtue of the principle of reciprocity in matters of international cooperation and the Palermo Convention, collaboration by the Office of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) in the Dominican Republic, the Department of Justice of the United States United States, as well as the support in the operational part of the Special Division for the Investigation of International Organized Crime (DEICROI) and the prosecutor for Children and Adolescents, Pedro Veloz. The investigations began last March.
The case has received the legal classification of violation of articles 396, 397, 408, 409, 410 and 411 of the Code for the Protection and Fundamental Rights of Children and Adolescents (Law 136-03), and articles 2 and 7, literal e, of Law 137-03, on Illicit Smuggling of Migrants and Human Trafficking, and articles 23 and 24 of Law 53-07, on High-Tech Crimes and Crimes, indicates the press release through which the information was offered.
