Prevention notice issued due to increased waves and winds in the Panamanian Caribbean

A prevention notice due to the increase in waves and significant winds in the Panamanian Caribbean, issued by the National Civil Protection System (Sinaproc), until July 2, 2022.

Sinaproc explained that the maritime zones under notice are: the Guna Yala region and the Costa Arriba de Colón in the Eastern Caribbean.
The Costa Abajo de Colón and Veraguas Norte in the Central Caribbean. And in the Western Caribbean, Bocas del Atoro and the Ngäbe Buglé Comarca.

The authorities through the Directorate of Hydrometeorology of the Electric Transmission Company (Etesa), reported that the possible passage of the tropical cyclone in the following days could generate increased waves and intensification of the winds in the Caribbean Sea and North of Panamanian Caribbean coasts.
The authorities asked bathers and captains of boats that are in the Panamanian Caribbean to be careful.
