The former official of the Scientific, Penal and Criminal Investigations Corps (cicpc) Ernesto Javier Sierra, allegedly involved in the kidnapping in Barinas of the citizen Franyely Guerrero, died in an alleged confrontation when he was transferred to Caracas.
According to the police report, officials from the Cicpc Kidnapping Division reported that Sierra managed to hang the driver of the unit in which he was transferred through the Central Regional Highway. This caused the vehicle to lose control and collide with a truck that was traveling on the aforementioned road artery.
After this. The detainee took the weapon of one of the Cicpc officers who were guarding him and fled, shooting at the members of the Scientific Police. This generated an exchange of fire and Sierra was wounded there. He was transferred to the nearest health center where he died.

The Minister of the Interior and Justice, Remigio Ceballosreported on Thursday, May 19, that commissions from the Scientific, Penal and Criminal Investigations Corps (Cicpc) managed to rescue Frányely Guerrero in Apure, who was kidnapped for several months.
Ceballos explained that the Cicpc was doing intelligence work for four months and 20 days to find the whereabouts of Guerrero. The operation, according to information from the police report, was carried out in a wooded area between Arauquita, Rojas municipality, and Pueblo Nuevo, Alberto Arvelo Torrealba municipality.
Guerrero’s kidnapping occurred on December 30, 2021, and during all this time family, friends and producers from the state of Barinas were asking for his release.
