According to a report by Punto Final, the undersecretary general of the presidential office, Ysmael Mayuri Quispe, raised the request, which was answered on Tuesday, September 7 by Yazmín Meléndez Fiestas, director of the office’s HR office.
Meléndez sent an excel file called “CHO”, and this “CHO list” is a table that classifies the name and dependence of Palace officials, as well as their origin at the level of department, province and district of birth.
This list is made up of various officials who hold important positions in the institution, such as Auner Vásquez Cabrera, head of the cabinet of advisers to President Castillo.
Another Chotano advisor is Máximo Cabrera Cabrera, and Irma Rojas Regalado, an employee close to the first lady, Lilia Paredes, also comes from Chota.
According to the journalistic piece, the Government Palace did not respond about the use of the list or the reasons for its preparation.
