The Metropolitan Presidential Delegation decreed an environmental pre-emergency in the Metropolitan Region (RM) for this Monday. This, due to poor air conditions in the area.
The measure -which is in force between 07:30 and 21:00 hours- contemplates a series of restrictions, such as the prohibition of residential heaters for firewood, pellets and other derivatives of wood, throughout the RM.
It also considers the stoppage of stationary sources corresponding to large establishments that do not meet annual goals.
With the environmental pre-emergency, the control and street washing and vacuuming program is also intensified.
Likewise, there will be a vehicle restriction for vehicles without a green seal, prior to September 1, 2011, with digits 2-3-4-5-6-7; for cargo transportation with green stamp of digits 1-0 and without green stamp of digits 2-3-4-5.
