The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, emphasized this Wednesday that, with the support of popular power, the “socialist revolution of the 21st century” will be built for Venezuela and Latin America.

We are going to make the socialist revolution of the 21st century in Venezuela and Latin America,” said the Venezuelan head of state during a massive mobilization outside the Miraflores Palace in Caracas.
During the act – in commemoration of the 20th anniversary of the April Revolution -, the National President exhorted citizens to “believe in our country”, in order to build maximum economic and social security.
“I call for belief in our country and for our own effort and work to open the doors to economic prosperity and maximum social security for our people,” he stressed.
Similarly, he urged the Venezuelan population to build a social, cultural and political movement, based on their own work and effort.
“Venezuela is prepared to be free and win. “There are many good things that we are working on and thinking about to advance with the heroines of the country, to advance with the community people, militiamen, to advance with the youth of the towns, high schools, universities. Build a powerful social movement, a powerful cultural and political movement, and build a powerful economy based on your own effort », she pointed out.
Special plan for schools and high schools
During the mobilization, President Maduro announced a special plan for the recovery of public schools, high schools and universities in the country, which were neglected due to the situation of the covid-19 pandemic.
“We have to recover them, speed up the recovery because with the pandemic, some facilities were lost and we have to advance in a 2022 goal, the recovery of 100% of the country’s public school, high school and university facilities,” said the president. Venezuelan while instructing the Minister for Education, Yelitze Santaella, to speed up the work.
Similarly, he ordered progress in the relaunch of the Barrio Adentro Mission, the 100% Health Mission and work to meet the goal set for 2024, the construction of four million homes.
