The President of the State, Luis Arce, highlighted this Saturday that the Ammonia and Urea Plant (PAU) generated $ 50 million in income in just three months of its reactivation, which means that industrialization is no longer a dream but a reality .

“The industrialization of #Bolivia is no longer a dream, it is a reality. In just three months after it was reactivated, our Bulo Bulo Urea and Ammonia Plant reported revenues of US $ 50 million in foreign currency as a contribution to the country’s trade balance. Our state governments make us proud! ”He posted on his Facebook account.

After being paralyzed in the government of Jeanine Áñez, the PAU was reactivated in September of this year with the projection of producing a total 590,000 tons

Of its production, 15% is commercialized in the national market and 85% in the international one. Due to its high quality, the agrofertilizer is demanded by countries such as Brazil, Argentina, Paraguay, Peru and Uruguay, according to data from the Bolivian Fiscal Oil Fields (YPFB).

This petrochemical complex is installed in the town of Bulo Bulo in the Cochabamba tropics, its construction demanded $ 953 million, one of the most important investments to promote the industrialization of natural resources in the country.
