After the funeral of mother Olinda Bonturi Bolsonaro, the President of the Republic Jair Bolsonaro decided to spend tonight (21) in the city of Eldorado, in the interior of São Paulo. According to the president’s press office, he should return to Brasília this Saturday. 
Bolsonaro was fulfilling an official agenda in Suriname, from where he would go to Guyana. Upon learning of his mother’s death this morning, he canceled his commitments and returned to Brazil.
The presidential flight arrived at Congonhas Airport, in São Paulo, in early afternoon today. From the airport, he went by helicopter to the city of Eldorado, where his mother was buried at 5 pm.
First lady Michelle Bolsonaro, the president’s brothers and son Flávio Bolsonaro accompanied him to the wake and burial.
Olinda Bonturi Bolsonaro died in the early hours of this Friday. She was 94 years old and lived in Eldorado, in the interior of São Paulo. The cause of death was not reported.
