President Petro stood up merchants in Cartagena

This Thursday began the most important event for merchants in the country, Nexos 2022, which was expected to be installed in Cartagenaby the President of the Republic, Gustavo Petro, and several of his immediate collaborators, with whom it was hoped to speak in depth about the situation of the economy and other aspects that remain on the daily agenda of Colombians.

The event was initially scheduled to start on September 29, but was changed in order to have the presence of President Petro. However, it was learned that despite the date change Petro stood up a guild as important as the merchants.

It was precisely Senator Paloma Valencia who announced Petro’s absence, questioning whether he is not interested in merchants: “President Petro did not arrive at Fenalco Nacional in Cartagena and that is why he changed the date of the event. Could it be that he doesn’t care about merchants either?”
