President Gustavo Petro spoke through his X account in response to the recent statements of the National Liberation Army (ELN), in which The armed group denies their participation in the assassination of Senator Miguel Uribe Turbay.

The ELN pronouncement is presented after the president said it as “likely” responsible for the crime during an promotion ceremony at the Santander General School.
In that context, the Head of State said in his publication that he never said that the group was behind the attack against Uribe Turbay and He said that the indications point to the second Marquetalia.

Dozens of tons of cocaine have fallen from the Venezuelan side and bribed public officials,”said President Petro.
