Among the attractions, the parade of the Marching Band of the Marines, much applauded by the public. The Air Force paratroopers also caught the attention of those present, with perfect jumps, all on target.

The planes of the Smoke Squadron gave a show aside, with risky maneuvers, but very well calculated, sometimes doing lows close to the audience.

The official event ended with a 21-gun salute, with booms that could be heard in the distance.

Before the end of the event, Bolsonaro left the official stage and participated in a political campaign act, on top of an electric trio, with religious leaders, about 200 meters away. He began his speech by thanking him for his health and for having survived the attack suffered in Juiz de Fora, in 2018.

“Thanks to God for my second life. Thank you for the mission you gave me to lead this great nation. It’s priceless to walk to the four corners of this country and find a happy, hardworking, peaceful and patriotic population”, said the president.

The act ended shortly after 5 pm, when thousands of people were slowly leaving the place, in the midst of a great traffic jam in the streets of the South Zone of the city.
