From the Municipal Theater in Caracas, during a meeting with the newly elected communal justices of the peacethe head of State instructed the ministries of Public Works and Communes, with the coordination of the Supreme Court of Justice (TSJ) for the construction of new operational modules such as peace houses.
“Today we could move forward with some speed. We have 2,369 Mission Bases and the Mission Base has to have its operational module only for the justice of the peace, only for the justice of the peace. The Mission Base, the cultural houses, the communal houses where they exist and where none of that exists, we are going to build an operational, comfortable, special module, as a house of peace,” he instructed the ministries for Public Works and Communes, with the coordination of the Supreme Court of Justice (TSJ).
Maduro expressed that with the election of the Justices of the Peace the people now exercise the Judicial Power in the community, as part of the deepening of the territorialization of public policies, this meeting is held, in which the grassroots spokespersons.
The first national leader stressed that last Sunday, December 15, of the total number of communal justices of the peace elected, 55% were men and 45% were women.
