Senators from the Parliamentary Inquiry Commission (CPI) of the Pandemic delivered today (28) a copy of the final report to the president of the Federal Supreme Court (STF), Minister Luiz Fux. The Court will be the addressee of any actions against those investigated with privileged jurisdiction.
At the meeting, the senators informed the president of the STF that the documents were delivered yesterday (27) to the Attorney General of the Republic, Augusto Aras, who will be responsible for juridically analyzing the conclusions of the CPI.
Senators Omar Aziz (PSD-AM), president of the CPI; Randolfe Rodrigues (Rede-AP), vice president, and Humberto Costa (PT-PE), incumbent.
“We will be awaiting the eventual development by the Attorney General’s Office. We believe that people with prerogative of jurisdiction, who, in addition to the president of the Republic, are seven, may be subject to future evaluation by the STF, based on the types of criminal offenses that were indicated in the indictment of the CPI report”, said Randolfe .
Yesterday, upon receiving the parliamentarians, Aras reiterated that a qualified team will analyze, under his direct coordination, all the information and will take the appropriate measures.
Early, the final report was also delivered to the Federal Court of Accounts (TCU) and to the Republic’s Attorneys in the Federal and Labor District.

One of the main points of the document of 1,299 pages suggests the indictment of President Jair Bolsonaro for nine crimes ranging from common offenses, provided for in the Penal Code, to crimes of responsibility, under the Impeachment Law. There is also citation of crimes against humanity under the Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court (ICC) in The Hague.
In addition to the President of the Republic, another 77 people, including the president’s three sons, ministers, former ministers, federal deputies, doctors and businessmen are on the list. There are also two companies: Need Medicines and VTCLog. With that, there are 80 requests for indictments in the report, in total.
