The president of the Socialist Party (PS), Paulina Vodanović, urged “speed up” the dialogues between parties in the face of a new constituent process. In this regard, he pointed to Chile Vamos, indicating that they “return to the issue of institutional borders”, avoiding referring to other matters, such as the mechanisms or number of constituents.
“The times of the constituent dialogue I think we have to hurry it up, it seems to me that the issue of borders is being dilated,” said Vodanovic from La Moneda, after the extended political committee.

“Long list of conditions” on the right
The lawyer delved into the institutional “edges” in the face of a new constituent process. In this regard, she referred to those presented by the ruling party and by Chile Vamos, and questioned the “long list of conditions” of the latter.

“We want a social and democratic State of law, yes, but that does not mean that in exchange for this we have to deliver a long list of conditions that the right says is to give citizens peace of mind, but in reality it is rather to give peace of mind to certain actors such as the Pension Fund Administrators (AFP), among others,” he added.
