The president of ParaguayanMario Abdo Benítez, and the governor of Tarija, Óscar Montes, greeted each other this Saturday with a handshake prior to the start of the Neuland Rodeo Expo in Philadelphia.
Both authorities came together in this event that takes place in the capital of the Department of Anchovy.
The representative of the Colorado Party, Edwin Reimer, confirmed to DUTY that the Paraguayan president greeted the Tarija authorities with the prospect that they deepen trade and tourism integration.
“It was a brief cordial greeting protocol and President Abdo Benítez thanked the governor of Tarija for his presence at the Rodeo Neuland Expo,” said the parliamentarian who was at the time of the greeting from both authorities.
He added that the meeting should serve as a starting point to intensify the cultural and commercial relations between the two neighboring countries.
Governor Óscar Montes with his entourage visits Philadelphia to promote Tarija as a tourist destination, since it bets on this item.
It also participates with a stand at the Expo Rodeo Neuland to disseminate the productive potential of this region, such as the oregano, the garlic, the onion and others agricultural cropss, for future export to the Paraguayan market.
To these is added the exposure of high altitude wines with a tasting of the visitors so that they know its quality.
