The president of Iran, Ebrahim Raisi, died this Sunday in a helicopter crash, Iranian state media reported.
Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian and several other people traveling in the helicopter also died in the accident.
The remains of the aircraft were found this Monday by search teams at the site of the helicopter accident. After the discovery, local media indicated that there were no “signs of life.”
