The President of France, Emmanuel Macronoffered help to Chile on Sunday for the forest fires that affect the country, which develop between the Maule and Los Lagos regions.
“Tragic fires ravage various regions of Chile. All my thoughts are with the families of the victims and the heroes who fight in front of the flames,” the President wrote on his Twitter account.

According to the latest balance of the Government, carried out on Sunday night, there are 71 fires in combat and 151 controlled. The accidents have left 24 dead, 2,922 people affected and 1,475 sheltered.
