The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolas Maduro Morosattended this Tuesday the National Youth Congress, which takes place in the Parque Ali Primera de Catia, west of Caracas.
The youth of Venezuela welcomed the first national president and his wife, the first combatant, Cilia Flowersin the midst of the musical and expressive hubbub of young people who participate in the preparations for the creation of the Great Mission Venezuela Youth.
“I thank you for so much joy and this warm and partying reception, so airy and singing, I congratulate you,” said the head of state, reconfirming that he has been pending since February 2, when he summoned them to hold this congress, since the debates of the work tables after the selection of boys and girls to be spokespersons and delegates.
“This has to be the youth congress, it is not a congress of a political party. It goes beyond the political party, it is of the diversity and color of all the youth of Venezuela, ”he said in his first words before the audience.

“When you are here you should feel like a country, like Venezuela, wherever you come from… you are the youth that represents the entire Homeland, the beloved Homeland. (…) And I think they have done an extraordinary job and I congratulate them, for that reason the youth are the golden, brilliant and beautiful generation of Venezuela”.
Given the importance of this youth activity, the immediate proposal to maintain the debate tables and the National Congress throughout this year was approved, under the following 7 action guidelines:
- Organization.
- Science and Technology.
- Sport, health and physical activity.
- Entrepreneurship, employment and agriculture.
- Culture and recreation.
- Social protection, family development and life project.
- Communication revolution.
The Head of State urged to cultivate human values, a healthy mind in a healthy body, with honesty and humility, eager for knowledge and work, leaving behind the harmful effects of capitalism that usurp positive principles and impose the corruption of money.

Documents with proposals
Previously, the general secretary of the Socialist Youth (JPSUV), Greece Apiariesgave a report on the work carried out in the National Congress, which is attended by more than 1,100 delegates from all the parishes and municipalities of the country, and from more than 50 national sectors, including students, athletes, women, scientists, culture, entrepreneurship, doctors, health, sex diversity, among others.
“Thank you for having summoned us to the National Congress of Venezuelan Youth that builds from the dreams, heart, soul and joy of the youth of the town,” said the young Venezuelan leader.
He informed him that the challenges and challenges, problems and possible solutions of youth were discussed at the 6 work tables, on topics such as health, education, sports, economy, science and technology, community politics, among others.
In this regard, he delivered a documentary dossier with the proposals of each work table and the results of the territorial and sectoral assemblies that were held prior to the Congress.
“It is the piece of paper, the sheet of each one of the tables, here are the dreams and the illusion of youth; and you, President, understand what it means to be Venezuelan. You are a kid who has understood how to work to overcome difficulties and has called us to combat this horrible blockade”.
He asserted that this National Congress has an anti-imperialist character and with the ability of young people to “reinvent ourselves,” he stressed, to conclude that the document with the proposals and considerations to face the future as a whole is handed over to him.
“Because if we say something, youth is hope, and precisely that will towards work and the creation with our hands of that future that we dream of so much”, concluded Grecia Colmenares.
