President Mulino and his team explain the bill to the CSS Board of Directors

The President of the Republic, José Raúl Mulino, participated in an explanatory meeting of the reform project to the Organic Law of the Social Security Fund (CSS) addressed to the members of the board of directors of this institution.

Those in charge of explaining the reform project in detail to the managers were the Ministers of Economy and Finance, Felipe Chapman, and of Health, Fernando Boyd Galindo, together with the director of the CSS, Dino Mon.

During his speech, the president assured that the objective of his government is to manage these reforms in the best way, in a serene environment, without public exaltations or radicalism. “Protests are part of a democracy, as long as they do not alter public order and the traffic of third parties who have nothing to do with the matter directly,” he mentioned.

“The working sector has not been affected in installments; The businessmen pay and the State will pay double: it will pay to balance the pension fund and it will pay as an employer,” he explained.

Added to this is the transfer of what Program 120 represents to the 65, which would be managed by the CSS, but with contributions from the State each year.
This benefit will increase to B/.144 per month for people over 65 years of age who did not contribute to the CSS.
