President Maduro: whatever the TSJ decides will be a holy verdict

At the end of his hearing before the Electoral Chamber of the Supreme Court of Justice, the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, assured that whatever the country’s highest court decides on the expert opinion on the elections of last Sunday, July 28, “will be a holy verdict.”

“I have answered the questions, I have not avoided any questions from the judges and magistrates,” Maduro told the media.

The president, who pointed out that in this historic electoral dispute, “9 of the 10 candidates who participated in the electoral process on July 28 have turned up. Only one candidate refused, he has not faced justice, nor the people. A candidate who is hiding, who orders people to kill, who sends commandos, who calls for a coup d’état.”
