The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolas Madurohe recalled Holy Innocents Daycelebrated this December 28, whose holiday takes place in several Spanish-speaking countries. Its origin dates back to the biblical story in which King Herod ordered the slaughter of all children under two years of age in Bethlehem, in order to eliminate the baby Jesus.
“Just as Herod failed before our Lord Jesus Christ, today he will not prevail against Venezuela. We maintain absolute hope that each day will be better!”, expressed the head of state through audiovisual material published on his channel Telegram.
He indicated that “if Herod could not yesterday, the Herod of today will not be able against Venezuela.” He added that the most important thing is that there is hope that the country will be better with each passing day.
Finally, the Venezuelan president said December 28 is a day to invoke the spirit of Davidof Moses and, in that line of command, “invoke the greatest of the great, our Lord Jesus.”
