The national government will take measures in defense of the Official Tax against the attack of the criminal dollar, to guarantee a healthy trade that respects the rights of the people, highlighted this Saturday the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro.
Through a message on his account on the social network Twitter, the head of state indicated that he had ordered the economic team to take measures in defense of the Official Dollar Rate.
«We will guarantee a happy Christmas by defeating the Mayan mafias. No one will stop economic growth,” stressed the President.
“Faced with the attack of the criminal dollar, I ordered the economic team to take measures in defense of the Official Tax, for a healthy trade that respects the rights of the people. We will guarantee a happy Christmas by defeating the Mayan mafias. No one will stop economic growth!” he posted on Twitter.
The legal quotation of currencies is the result of the operations carried out by the Central Bank of Venezuela (BCV) in the exchange tables with the banks.

It should be remembered that since 2015 Venezuela has suffered attacks against the currency, which resulted in induced shortages, smuggling of extraction, financial persecution, blockade of the ability to trade and purchase in world markets, theft of assets.
Economic growth
Given these actions, the national government has implemented economic measures seeking the benefit of the Venezuelan people, and little by little with its own effort it has gone, thanks to the policies implemented by the Executive, recovering economic balance.
In this sense, President Nicolás Maduro has reiterated that Venezuela, despite the blockade and unilateral sanctions, has sustained economic growth.
«Very good numbers have Venezuela in the increase that with blockades and more than 700 coercive sanctions, Venezuela continues to move forward,” Maduro said in recent statements.
He emphasized that 2022 is the first year of expansion and accelerated growth, wealth creation and the construction of the new economy, taking into account the variety of ventures that have emerged in the country.
“The post-oil economy has been born and nothing and no one is going to stop it,” Maduro said.
