The Great March of the Flags and the Bicentennial Sword of the Liberator, Simón Bolívarreceived the constitutional president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro Moros, who joined the mobilized revolutionaries, at the entrance to the Paseo Monumental de Los Próceres, in Caracas.
In this massive event that toured the streets of the capital, Venezuelans of all ages participated in a mobilization full of symbolism and patriotic commitment, heading to the Courtyard of Honor of the Bolivarian Military University of Venezuela.
The national leader also accompanies the senior leaders of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV)among them Diosdado Cabello, Jorge Arreaza, Nahum Fernández, Carmen Meléndez and other prominent figures.
Members of social, communal, student, youth, grandparents and elderly movements, as well as motorized vehicles and members of the Bolivarian Militia, joined this demonstration that honors the eight-star National Flag and also the Bicentennial of the delivery of the Sword of Peru to the Liberator Simón Bolívar, at a time when the homeland is threatened by US imperialism.
All attendees thus reaffirm their commitment to peace, sovereignty, independence and freedom of Venezuela, in addition to ratifying their support for the head of State, as an expression of revolutionary unity and loyalty to the revolutionary legacy of the Commander Hugo Chávez Frías.
