The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, awarded on Wednesday afternoon the Ambassador of the Republic of Belarus, Andrei Leonidovich Molchan and Elías Lebbos, ambassador of the Lebanese Republic, with the Order Francisco de Miranda.
Andrei Leonidovich Molchan, who was awarded with the Order Francisco de Miranda in his first class, served for 5 years in Venezuela, favoring Bolivarian peace diplomacy and strengthening binational relations.
This diplomatic meeting, held at the Palacio de Miraflores, had the honorable participation of the Minister Counselor of Belarús, Aleksandr Shkatulov, of the first secretary of the Embassy and Interpreter, Iván Turau and the Vice Minister for Asia, Middle East and Oceania of the Ministry of Popular Power for Foreign Affairs of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Tatiana Pugh Moreno.
Likewise, the First Lady, Cilia Flores and the Chancellor of the Republic, Yván Gil was present at the event.
For his part, the ambassador of the Lebanese Republic, Elías Lebbos, was fired with honors when he received the Order Francisco de Miranda, a general high school, in his first class, in recognition of his outstanding diplomatic work and the strengthening of the bonds of friendship and cooperation between both nations.
The act, held in an environment of warmth and recognition, marks the end of the diplomatic mission of Ambassador Elías Lebbos in Venezuela, leaving a legacy of understanding and mutual respect.
