President Maduro congratulates Erdogan on his re-election in Türkiye

The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro Moros, extended an effusive congratulations to his Turkish counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdogan, for his victory in the general elections this Sunday, which were held in the Eurasian country.

“Venezuela celebrates the triumph of our brother and friend @RTErdogan, who was victorious in the presidential and parliamentary elections in Türkiye. We congratulate the Turkish people for this victory, wishing to continue working together to build the new world. Long live Türkiye! ”, The president expressed himself on his twitter account.

Likewise, the Bolivarian government issued an official statement that highlights the “demonstration of civility and democratic participation”, in what it defined as a “historic electoral day”.

The statement highlights that “in light of the victory (of Erdogan) by a large majority”, the “strength of democracy” in the Eurasian nation is reaffirmed. In addition, he wishes the re-elected president “great successes on the road to a just society for the peace and tranquility of his people.”

In this way, the Venezuelan government ratifies the friendship and commitment with Turkiye and its government, in order to deepen the existing fruitful relations “that have brought extensive benefits” to the peoples of the two countries.
