The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, congratulated this Thursday the new president of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, Vo Van Thuong.
The massage was published by the Head of State through his official account on the Twitter social network @NicolasMaduro where he expressed to the new Vietnamese President “the greatest success and our full willingness to continue, as always, along the path of cooperation and the brotherhood between both peoples”.
Van Thuong, 52 years old, will be the president of Vietnam until 2026, after the National Assembly of that country elected him on March 2 with more than 98% of the assembly members.
