Venezuela y Azerbaiyán fortalecen lazos de amistad y cooperación

This Friday, through a videoconference, the president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicholas Maduro Moors, held a meeting with his counterpart from Azerbaijan, Ilham Alievwhere he called for raising relations between the two countries, given the good multilateral level that has been developed between the two nations.

In the pleasant meeting, the Head of State specified that from the “Movement of Non-Aligned Countries we have had a constructive position”, whose pro tempore presidency has been in the hands of Azerbaijan since 2019.

In the conversation, both leaders evaluated the opportunities for expanding strategic alliances, as part of the bilateral cooperation map, especially in the areas of tourism, agriculture, science and technology.

For his part, the president of Azerbaijan said: “We welcome you here with great joy and we pay great interest and attention to your visit. I am sure that his visit will be beneficial for both countries.”

The dialogue took place through this digital platform, due to suspicious results in the COVID-19 tests carried out on the members of the Venezuelan delegation.
