The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, activated this Wednesday his official channel on the Dailymotion digital platform, a communication alternative that is consolidated as a new space for the dissemination of informative content, speeches, activities and messages from the head of state.
Starting this Wednesday, October 15, the channel is available to share the truth about Venezuela without censorship or restrictions, in order to strengthen the people’s direct access to the presidential word and the most relevant events in the country.
Through this new digital window, content of national and international interest will be transmitted, including live broadcasts, official interventions, tours, meetings with the people and reflections of the president on the political, economic and social events of the nation.

This digital platform represents a space free of censorship, where you can directly access the messages and activities of the national leader, as part of transparent and participatory communication.
With this initiative, President Maduro reaffirms his commitment to popular communication, the people’s right to truthful information and the strengthening of Venezuela’s communication sovereignty in the global digital scenario.
On September 19, without giving any explanation, the streaming video platform YouTube closed the account of President Nicolás Maduro, who used the tool as a means of communication.
The account has 233,000 followers who follow the president’s messages daily.
Through this account, which bears the name of the President of the Republic, all the activities in which the Venezuelan head of State participates were transmitted, including his television program called Con Maduro+ which he carries out on Mondays starting at 7:00 pm.
We are still waiting for the official position of the YouTube service, which is obliged to keep its community informed about the rules that govern it.
