«From the depths of my soul, I am proud of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces that I have to command. By 2023, the year of the Bicentennial of the Battle of Lake Maracaibo and 200 years of the liberation of Puerto Cabello,” the head of state, Nicolás Maduro, announced this Wednesday.

The statements were offered by the national president, in order to lead the act of salutation to the members of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB), where He highlighted the humanist character of the FANB, “attached to the Constitution and dedicated to the full protection of the people.”

He explained that from the “deep faith of the Creator, from the values ​​of Christ the Redeemer, the defense of the Homeland must continue to be from the thought of Bolívar, from the liberating army, from the precepts, doctrine and legacy of our Supreme Commander Hugo Chávez.”

During his message, the President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, He thanked the Bolivarian National Armed Forces for the humanitarian aid provided in solidarity to the people, who needed it during the different eventualities of natural disasters.
