The president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Nicolás Maduro, led on Thursday the joint plenary of the party and the red awning youth from the Municipal Theater in Caracas, where political leaders from all over the country participated.
Maduro explained that he was aware of all the debates that were gestated from the bases, where he commented on the elaboration of a document to carry out the projects set “and this congress is in honor of President Mártir, Salvador Allende, 52 years after that fascist coup d’etat,” he said.
The national president highlighted the figure of Allende as a “brave leader of our America”, as well as his legacy and the relevance of his martyrdom and, earlier, described him as a dignity lighthouse, which was an example of resistance to Latin America and the Caribbean.
The president stressed that, along with the last events of the Warrist Plan by those who govern the White House in the United States, “the people will not kneel before anyone,” he said.
He also greeted the delegates and delegates of the 24 states of the country, plus the capital, Caracas, who attended the plenary and international delegates from various countries such as Brazil, Chile, Colombia, the Basque Country, Spain, Uruguay, Argentina, Ecuador, Mexico and Honduras
Special base day, Saturday and Sunday
Maduro proposed, in full plenary, to carry out a special base day this weekend to, he said, to collect all the proposals of the juncture for which Venezuela through the threat of the US government in the Caribbean.
“It is listening to the people and bringing the best systematized proposals, through 3 proposals, the first is to consolidate the government’s capacity to solve and address the problems of the people (with the third t),” he said.
From the second proposal he mentioned that a new constituent process must be consolidated and moving community. “You have to go out to govern people and more, every day and my duty is to demand more popular government.”
He also stressed that the third proposal has to do with the PSUV as a governing entity, it adapts acceleratedly in the “non -armed struggle to the armed struggle if Venezuela is threatened and given by any circumstance,” he said.
“There they with their follies, we with Bolivarianism, and that those who want war are defined because doubting is betrayal,” he said.
Participation of more than 10,000 militants
This meeting was attended by more than 10,000 militants, including JPSUV Youth, who discussed the creation of new tasks within the block, as well as the importance of knowing in depth the 7 transformations of the Plan de la Patria 2025-2031, “emanating by the Head of State in order to move towards the new era of socialism promoted by the Eternal Commander, Hugo Chávez”, according to an informative news note.
In Congress, as reported, political-historical issues were also discussed for the country, such as:
- Organizational Balance: For the review of the PSUV structure at state, municipal and communal levels.
- Management evaluation: With the aim of analyzing public and communal management.
- Electoral processes review: To evaluate the results of the recent elections.
- Consolidation of sectoral leadership: With the strategic vision of strengthening leadership between workers, women, peasants and other social groups in the country.
