The President of the Republic, José Jeríparticipated this morning in the raising ceremony of the National Pavilion that took place outside the Government Palace, a civic act that is part of the Executive’s actions to strengthen national identity and civic values among the population.
The activity took place with the presence of Ministers of State and senior officers of the National Police and the Armed Forces, who accompanied the Head of State in the protocol act.
The raising of the Peruvian flag is regularly carried out on Mondays at the Executive headquarters as part of the cycle of civic ceremonies that seek to promote respect for national symbols and social cohesion.
This type of ceremonies is part of the Government’s policy of reinforcing national values in coordination with other institutional and educational activities at the national level.
After this ceremony, the president led the work meeting ‘Professional Commitment to the Future of Peru’ and the exhibition ‘Vision of Peru 2050’, a space for dialogue with young professionals, graduates and students to reflect and contribute to the development of Peru.
During his speech, the president highlighted the importance of professionals sharing the vision that the State has of the country.
“And that vision is what we want to be understood and for you to process in your spaces; it is one more tool, each one knows what they do with the information or with the vision that is transmitted to them,” he stated.
The president maintained that in his case he has agreed with part of the members of the Ministerial Cabinet, with whom, beyond the generational issue, he shares a vision of the country.
