The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, inaugurated on Wednesday the “International Leadership School” of the Youth Antonio José de Sucre, from the parish ranks of Mariche in the state of Miranda.
This school will house different spaces for the development of those who will make life in this study center; Among them library areas, digital zone, laboratories, dining room with capacity for about a thousand students. In addition, 20 equipped classrooms.
President Maduro said that this school will be “the vaccine against fascism and new colonialism”, in view of the fact that it is host for education, culture and values. He also said that he will have 916 students of different ages and destinations of the country.
He pointed out that the “International Leadership School” of Youth Antonio José de Sucre, is international because “we also seek the experience of everyone, through a multicenter world that respects the right to live in peace and is part of the avant -garde that he believes in mutual cooperation ”, on the path of civilizations dialogue, Maduro said.
Structured programs
The president added that they have created a structured scheduled plan, which lead to each state of the country to have its nucleus, in that sense, asked the Minister of Education, Héctor Rodríguez, to assume the rector of this international school.
“What important task I am assuming, president, we have several target audiences; Among them the more than 5,000 communal circuits, there we have the first audience, so we will give a first course of base ideas, which allows them to develop a leadership work methodology, ”said Rodríguez.
Regarding student leadership, he said that there will be a series of formations to strengthen the academic aspect, “that they are the next scientists, farmers, athletes, biologists (…) that the country requires to continue developing all its potential,” he said.
