President in charge Delcy Rodríguez tours recovered UCV facilities

This Tuesday, the president in charge of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, toured the facilities of the Central University of Venezuela (UCV), a university center that was recently restored by the Bolivarian Government.

During the tour, Rodríguez was accompanied by various authorities and former big league player Miguel Cabrera. The representative in charge was able to interact and share her opinion with those present, in this “new stage of the house that conquers the shadows.” He also had the opportunity to exchange ideas with UCV students, among whom were students representing Venezuelan extremist opposition parties.

Rodríguez urged the students of the opposition sector during this meeting to carry out responsible politics, “far from show business and politicking”; and in turn, he called for a meeting with all political actors, coincident and divergent, under an inclusive approach, since “Venezuelans prefer agreements, instead of confrontation.”

In this sense, it is important to remember that Rodríguez, in recent days, called for collective reflection and national unity as ways to stop violence and hatred, and thus, strengthen institutional stability and contribute to the social well-being of the Venezuelan people, in a context that demands serenity and political commitment.

He also urged students to join the Program for Coexistence and Peace, designed to combat the incubation of hatred and violence in the country.

This plan was recently installed during a meeting with the members of the Council of Coexistence and Peace in the Sol del Perú room of the Miraflores Palace, by the president in charge, who stressed the need to carry out an “arqueo” or exhaustive review of the current situation to strengthen peace from the bases.
