President Gustavo Petro said this Wednesday, in Turbo (Antioquia), that the United States “has decreed for its own economy” and that the country is taking capital from South American countries.
“The United States is ruining all the economies of the world (…) Decisions are made to protect themselves sometimes without thinking about what is going to happen through their measures“, assured the president.
Petro also spoke of the thousands of migrants who cross the Darien areaand affirmed that “that country that does not want them, would have to understand that, in order to stop this exodus, which is passing through here, we must achieve more prosperity in our nations.”
